A friend who lives a beautiful life stays for part of the year on her family's property in historic Natchez, Missippi. When I've visited, I've been romanced by the soft gentleness of southern Spring. Rainshowers sweep through the woods, and you can almost hear the flowers and grasses expanding into the warm spring air.
This year, she invited me to offer art workshops. The campus of the first college in Mississippi is on the outskirts of town; with a spacious room, and winding walking paths, it is the perfect setting to explore color. As an artist, it is one of my favorite topics, and there never seems to be an end to learning and exploring.
The workshops are open to everyone. Starting friday night with "Discover Your Personal Palette", into Saturday with, "The Joy of Color", we will wrap up on a different note Sunday with "The Painted Pot"...bringing my love of the garden and color together into a fun opportunity to play with new color discoveries on the canvas of the clay pot. I have seen masterpieces evolve, fitting for the most humble herb garden and the most glorious orchids.
