From the mesa behind my house, I have a 360 view. Open miles of flat-topped mesas with a fine coating of golden grasses lead to distant mesas and the Sangre de Christos mountains. The vast sky usuallu takes center stage, however. Piles of clouds storm in and then evaporate. I can stand in the sun and watch rain fall in the distance.
